Jonnah Lee Goldberg (Amsterdam, 1998) is actrice en maker, met een grote verwondering over de menselijke psyche. In haar werk zoekt ze naar de echte ontmoeting, daar waar perspectieven mogen schuren en waar ruimte is voor verhalen die vaak ongezien of ongehoord blijven, met in het bijzonder aandacht voor de positie van de vrouw. Ze heeft een achtergrond in dans en beeldende kunst, die haar inspireert in hoe ze haar personages en projecten aanvliegt. 

Van januari t/m mei liep ze stage bij NITE in Groningen, waar ze speelde in Another glorious failure (regie Jessie L’Herminez) en Wat we erven (regie Rebekka Nilsson).

Naast acteren schrijft Jonnah ook en werkt ze als fotograaf en filmmaker. In haar werk als maker staan vaak kleinmenselijke verhalen centraal. In 2025 studeerde ze af aan de Willem de Kooning Academie met de korte film My dear caught in headlights, die ze zelf schreef, regisseerde en speelde.

Op zaterdag 13 juni is haar afstudeersolo, Etymologie, die ze schreef en maakte onder begeleiding van Silke van Kamp, op Festival Gemaakt te zien. Een paar weken later speelt ze met haar klas in de afstudeervoorstelling Iedermens, in regie van Michel Sluysmans, in samenwerking met Toneelgroep Maastricht. Deze is op 30 juni en 1/2/3 juli 2026 te zien in de Bordenhal in Maastricht.

Jonnah Lee Goldberg (Amsterdam, 1998) is an actress and creator with a deep fascination for the human psyche. In her work, she seeks authenticity where perspectives may clash and where there is room for stories that often go unseen or unheard. She has a particular focus on the position of women. She has a background in dance and visual arts, which inspires her approach to her characters and projects. 

From January through May, she completed an internship at NITE in Groningen, where she performed in Another glorious failure (directed by Jessie L’Herminez) and Wat we erven ‘’Things we inherit’’ (directed by Rebekka Nilsson).

In addition to acting, Jonnah also writes and works as a photographer and filmmaker. Her creative work often centers on stories of ordinary people. In 2025, she graduated from the Willem de Kooning Academy with the short film My dear caught in headlights, which she wrote, directed, and starred in herself.

On Saturday, June 13, her graduation solo performance, Etymologie, ‘’Etymology’’, which she wrote and created under the guidance of Silke van Kamp, will be presented at Festival Gemaakt. A few weeks later, she will perform with her class in the graduation production Iedermens, directed by Michel Sluysmans, in collaboration with Toneelgroep Maastricht. The production will be shown on June 30 and July 1, 2, and 3, 2026, at the Bordenhal in Maastricht.
